Kevin’s Dilemma

Kevin sat placidly on his porch. This was a big improvement over the week before, when he had sat under his porch, prompting several worried calls to the sheriff. Sipping his usual afternoon eggnog, he watched a flock of bald eagles soar overhead. When he saw how graceful and free they were, he was inspired to beat them in Chinese checkers someday. Reluctant to break his reverie, Kevin stood and resumed his work in putting out the fire in his living room.
