Atoms

It was Greek philosopher Democritus who first defined an atom as a particle of matter so small that it could not be divided. He later abused this definition by defining sandwiches as atoms so he wouldn’t have to share. Nevertheless, Democritus was right, atoms are the building blocks of all matter; and trains are the train sets of all matter; and trees are the Lincoln Logs of all matter; and it’s about time that matter grew out of its toys for God’s sake. Atoms are only made of protons, neutrons, and electrons, with the vast majority of an atom’s volume being empty space. The fact that your brain is made of these mostly-empty atoms likely accounts for your behavior at restaurants.
